I am writing a novel titled What Not To Tell A Skeleton! The genre of the novel was supposed to be horror/comedy/romance but, as I wrote it, it became more of a macabre gothic fiction novel.

To give you some context: A flesh stealing skeleton enlists an awkward half zombie to find him a lover, "before he loses what's left of his heart". A boy is transformed into an Irish mythical creature called the Dullahan, who, in my version, rides these "twin hands" stolen from a piano tutor who turns her students into pianos. 

The zombie girl's voice is stolen by a ghost in exchange for irresistible charm. But a metalworker and spiritist is able to give the girl the ability to speak so long as she says something meaningful to the Dullahan. Those meaningful words are those that the boy and girl shared before they were forever cursed.
