Butterflies with Vertigo: Storms of Glitter Glass

A sentient meteor, accompanied by a living storm, crashes into New York City. That storm rearranges the DNA of every citizen - transforming them into hybrids. The Big Five -a hawk, a mantidfly, a frog, a leopard and a butterfly - each had a dream. Their dreams uprooted, the Big Five must now dethrone a wasp queen. A queen who wishes to place her larvae in the heads of every bird to enlist them.

Even the flowers weren’t safe -

The flowers grew large and evolved powerful influences over those who consumed them. The city is lifted into the air, the ground is covered in glitter glass and the dead depend on their loved ones for the dreams (or nightmares) they now inhabit.
